レビュー
Once the concepts of CAT are understood, the instructor can moveon to create course-specific techniques tailored to his or herteaching style and the learning styles of a particular class, thusgreatly enhancing the usefulness of Classroom Assessment.
This book is extremely useful and would be a worthy addition toboth teachers' and advisors' libraries.

Each of the 50 techniques includes an estimate (low, medium, high) of the time it will take the teacher to prep, for students to complete, and for the teacher to analyze the results. I think with edtech tools and so many options built into our LMSs, those estimates also need revising. Again, we can figure those out on our own through trial and error.
Highly recommended, despite the dated nature of the instructions. I'm fascinated reading through each one and thinking about how I can adapt it for my undergrad and MBA students in supply chain and statistics. I think any teacher at any grade level can find techniques to use in any subject.
This book is an excellent guide for teachers in making assessments of their students. While designed for use at the tertiary level, secondary school teachers and even those teaching in primary schools can benefit from reading it as well. Teacher-trainers will also find it to be valuable.
