It’s fine to read a book written about somebody. But it’s even better to hear that person talk about themself. This is what I like about the book, being able to hear Sam’s on voice discuss all these different time periods in his life and the plays and stories that he wrote during that life. I
I’ve been a fan of his for 30 years and reading these interviews took me all the way back through my own discovery and experience of learning about him, reading and acting in his plays over these past 30 years. Very interesting.
