Review from previous edition Comprehensive, sound, readable, and up-to-date, this is probably the best single-volume dictionary of its kind. Weighty in substance, the work is nonetheless manageable; Colman uses words with grace and economy...Cross references are handled effectively...Browsers will find much food for thought and some intellectual treats...Eager to teach and entertain, Colman offers a list of do-it-yourself demonstrations in the preface. The book arrived very quickly and it's great because I don't have to Google the key terms/words all the time. I recently have started Psychology foundation year and English my second language, so this is a very useful dictionary for me and I'm certain I will be using it for the following years to come until the dissertation.
Highly recommend.

Sehr gelungene Zusammenfassung, um einen ersten Einstieg zu einer Thematik zu bekommen oder kurz etwas vergessenes nachschlagen zu können! Sehr kompakte und günstige Lösung, die jeder im Regal haben sollte.
