Long Descript: This is the first volume of a major three-volumeEncyclopaedia of EC Law which OUP will be publishing during 1990/94. Thisvolume deals with the institutional aspects of EC law in seven hundred pagescontaining over three hundred concisely and lucidly presented entries. Eachentry explains a particular concept or point of law and is fully documentedwith appropriate case and Treaty references as well as suggestions forfurther reading among the huge literature of EC law. Every aspect of theEuropean Court of Justice and of the new Court of the First Instance isexamined and procedures and remedies dealt with. There is also a fulltreatment of the Commission, Council, and European Parliament. A full list ofentries can be found at the beginning of the work. All entries are arrangedalphabetically and the work is supported by very thorough tables of cases,Acts, and Treaties.
