<Useful Search Option>

 

     Exact Search

          If you have exact information on a title, author, etc. , you can search complete matching materials.

          Example: ＃science ←Put "#"(Sharp) at the head of search terms

          You cannot retrieve records that contain "science fiction" and "natural science", etc.

 

     Prefix Search

          If you use truncation, you can find all materials that begin with a given prefix.

          Example: japan* ←Put "*"(asterisk) at the end of search terms

          You can retrieve records that contain "japanese" and "japanism", etc.

 

< You can search the following materials.>

 

     1. All books, periodicals, and audio-visual materials located in the Main Library and the Kobe-Sanda Branch.

     2. Books which are held in branch libraries each school or department has, and have been acquired since 1984.

     3. Periodicals which have been acquired and stored in branch libraries, but registered at the Main Library.

     4. Books and periodicals which are held in the Institute for Industrial Research, but some materials acquired are not available for search.

     5. The audiovisual materials which are held in the Audio Visual Room, the Language Center.

     6. All books, periodicals and audio-visual materials held by the Seiwa Junior College Library.
